On the cover of one of pollster George Barna's recent books was this shocking line:  "The Enemy has plans for your children--do you?"  The least secure location in America is not an airport in New York, a federal building in D.C., or a public school in metro Atlanta.  It's the home!

While the nation debates health care, and our soldiers are fighting for freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan, the most vulnerable institution is still the family.  If the family fails, the nation fails.  Families are threatened from every direction and few are coping well.  Children and marriages are insecure.

Families are not animated crazies or dysfunctional talk show targets.  From Dr. Phil to The SIMPSONS, the family is suffering from multiple bad definitions and minimal good options to get healthy.  On a big scale, families are critical to God's plan to rescue the planet.  On a smaller scale, God designed the family unit to be the base for spiritual truth and moral sanity.

This series is an effort to help families build their own personalized HOME DEFENSE system.  God's desire is that parents and children would get engaged in the real battle of living life God's way.  Using real family stories from the book of Genesis, the series seeks to connect biblical truth to the most critical daily life issues faced by families.  Topics will cover the scale from dealing with a mate or child that is tearing your family apart to how to recover from really bad decisions to discovering the 3 most important commitments a family could ever make.

We dare you to deal with God, His truth, and this series!  Our warning label might look like this:

WARNING:  YOU WILL EXPERIENCE HOPE!
