What is the purpose of our Student Ministry at Standing Springs Baptist Church?

Purpose:

Represent Student Ministries and Reveal College Ministries exists to:

• POINT students to a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ,
• PLUG them in with other believers, guide them as they
• PURSUE becoming like Christ, encourage a
• PASSION for worshipping God, and send them out to
• POUR their lives into others.

Vision:
Partnering with parents to teach students to be full-time students of Jesus Christ.

Strategy:
Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did. (1 John 2:6)
We will strive to learn how to REPRESENT Christ with our:

• Attitudes
• Actions
• Association
• Availability

Task:
To accomplish the purpose, vision, and strategy in a way that is relevant to student culture.
