what to expect
Standing Springs is a welcoming faith family where you can grow in biblical community and experience the joy of Jesus with us. Don't feel like you have to have "it all together".
We certainly don't. Come as you are, rest in and find joy in the life-changing good news of the gospel.
Clock When does church start?
Our corporate worship gathering starts at 10:30am in the main worship center (large brick building with the steeple). If you are interested in being a part of a small group bible study class during our Sunday School hour, plan to arrive at 9:00am. Enter at the guest services entrance from the front parking lot and a welcome team member will help connect you to a class!
After our Sunday School hour, we gather in the HUB (Auditorium to the right of our main worship center) at 10:00am for fellowship, donuts and coffee.
In addition to our morning Bible study and corporate worship gatherings, we have a 5:00pm corporate prayer gathering that also meets in the main worship center.
Car Side Where do I park?
Anywhere you would like! We have guest parking in the front parking lot near the guest services entrance. No matter where you park, a member of our welcome team will connect with you and help you find your way.
Child What about my kids?
Our desire is to provide a fun, engaging, and safe space for your children to learn about Jesus. We have childcare available during the 10:30am and 5:00pm worship gatherings for infants through K5. Our childcare rooms are located on the first floor of the 3-story brick building behind the main worship center. Whether you park at the childcare center entrance or the front parking lot, a welcome team member will help you find your way to the check-in desk.
Alternate Shield Are my kids safe?
Absolutely. For your child's safety and your peace of mind, we require all children to be checked in. Once you arrive at the check in desk, a childcare volunteer will ask for your contact info and anything our team needs to know for the well being and comfort of your child. Your child will be given a name tag and you'll be given a security tag. After the worship gathering, you must present the security tag to check your child out. In addition to these protocols, we require all childcare volunteers to clear a federal and state background check.
T-Shirt what do i wear?
We want you to feel comfortable and be yourself. You'll find people dressed in jeans and t-shirts and suits and dresses alike. No matter how you are dressed, you'll fit right in!
Cross What are your services like?
Our corporate worship gatherings are a time for us to celebrate the gospel together. We place high importance on congregational singing and intentionally arrange our music to best facilitate congregational singing. We spend intentional time in corporate prayer and hear God's Word proclaimed through expositional preaching. Our gatherings typically last a little over an hour.
